The best way to start my day?  No, it’s not with Folgers in my cup. It’s the recent news that Park Avenue Coffee will soon be opening a 3rd location in St. Louis.  Plus, they will be roasting their own beans at this location in an air-roasting facility. If this is going to smell as good as I am imagining it, I want to move in next door.

Currently Park Avenue has its flagship location in Lafayette Square and a 2nd location in downtown.  Owner Dale Schotte likes to keep the locations in areas with a neighborhood feel and The Hill certainly has that. In addition to the roasting facility, the new location will house the corporate offices, a café, and the baking facilities for their heavenly Ann & Allen  gooey butter cake.  Two long time employees, Zack Dismukes and Beau Davenport, will head up the roasting, and I for one can’t wait!

The new location will be at 5105 Columbia Ave in The Hill Neighborhood and is expected to open within the next month.

If you can’t wait that long, visit the original location at 1919 Park Ave in Lafayette Square or 417 N. 10th Street Downtown.
