When I say Food Truck, you say Friday. Food Truck. Friday!

STL Food Trucks

We went on a week long journey of food truck bliss and met up with some of the food trucks of FTF to hear a little bit about what they have in store for you. We can’t wait to introduce you to their flavor.

In addition to meeting some cool new STL folks, we also took one for the team and taste-tested from each of their menus :).

Completely Sauced (@saucedonwheels)

This is a Cajun and creole food truck with lots of fresh ingredients and unique offerings. We tried their daily special, the jambalaya balls, and they were delicious. As I accidentally blurted out, but truly meant: “You’re gonna tear into those balls.” They’re slightly spicy, which you would expect, but also have huge pieces of meat inside and they were paired with really flavorful sweet potato chips.

Steamroller (@steamrollerstl)

We tested out the Jeopardy sandwich with a delicious steamed sun dried tomato bagel (you get to choose your bagel) filled with ham, Swiss and Colby, with the cheese literally oozing out of the sides.

Sarah’s Meltdown (@sarahsmeltdown)

We went with both a classic and newbie. The classic Garber comes on sourdough and is stuffed to the max with Havarti and Cheddar cheeses, apple-wood smoked bacon, tomato and avocado. For the newbie, we chose the buffalo chicken quesadilla with cheddar, provel and plenty of ranch. Both will be available at FTF.

My Big Fat Greek Truck (@greektruckstl)

As a shout out to the non-lamb eaters, we tried both the classic and the veggie gyro. The veggie gyro is stuffed with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, feta and kalamata olives. It has the perfect amount of all ingredients and is truly a treat in your mouth.

The Sweet Divine (@thesweetdivine)

Salted Caramel: A brown sugar cupcake, topped with salted caramel buttercream icing and a caramel drizzle. While it didn’t win the Cupcake Wars and is lacking bacon, it has just the right amount of lightness and sweetness. Jenna also told us they create a special new cupcake for each food truck that is kept a surprise until the day of, so in addition to their regular menu, get excited for something different…and if you like bananas, you’re in for a treat on FTF #1.

Here’s the schedule of all Food Truck Fridays for 2015. You can also check out ShowMeFoodTrucks.com to find all of the food trucks, new and old, to follow their Twitter and Facebook pages where you can view their menus and track where they will be each day.

Happy #FTF St. Louis!
