Celebrate Mom This Sunday Around St. Louis For Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day 2018 is almost here! It’s Sunday, May 13th, in case you weren’t yet aware.  Time to thank one of the most important people in your life for everything they have done for you.

Some of my favorite things about Mother’s Day are the amazing brunch and dining options in St. Louis, oh, and the mimosas. When looking for a great place to go, you have to get reservations early. Some places sell out months in advance, like the Zoo.  So, I thought I would help and give you some options so you can make your reservations now.  Here are some of my favorite Mother’s Day eating excursions…

The brunch at Robust, known as RoBrunch is pictured. It's just one of the great places around St. Louis to celebrate Mom this Mother's Day.

Cardinals Nation Restaurant and Bar – Perfect for the Cardinal fanatic mom! Brunch will be served from 10am – 2pm. $40 for adults, $18 for children, and free for children under 3 and includes free admission to the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum (also includes one free mimosa or Bloody Mary). Advanced reservations required.

The Anheuser-Busch Biergarten – Located at the Anhueser Busch Brewery in Soulard, the brewery is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. The brunch will feature Budweiser pancakes, an omelet station, St. Louis salad, biscuits and gravy, pretzels and much more. As a special thank you to moms, their first drink is free! There will also be specialty cocktails available, including Pine-Apple-Rita Fizz, Bud Light Chelada (a Mexican inspired Bloody Mary) and Stella Artois Cidre Mimosas for $5 and bottomless mimosas for $15. Brunch is $25 for adults and $15 for children. Those under the age of 3 are free. For reservations, guests should call 314.765.4649.

Ari’s – Opa! One of my favorite Greek restaurants and a great place for their breakfast buffet.  They have locations on Hampton and in South County. The breakfast buffet is open from 8am-1pm (lunch items start at 11am).  Breakfast (includes tea or coffee) costs $7.95 for adults and $4.95 for kids (amazing). They will also have mimosa and bloody mary drink specials all day.

Cielo – Located downtown in the Four Seasons Hotel next to Lumiere. The brunch takes place from 10am-3pm. Chef Gian Nicola Colucci and his team have prepared a decadent buffet fit for a queen. Specialty stations include a seafood raw bar featuring crab claws, ceviche, sashimi, oysters and sushi. A selection of local farmhouse cheeses and charcuterie are a great starter before enjoying omelets made-to-order, French toast kebobs, a farmer’s market salad station, a carving station that features New York strip loin and Italian branzino marinated with white wine and heirloom cherry tomatoes. Save room for dessert as Pastry Chef Saul Juarez will be serving passion fruit tortes, caramel milk chocolate pot du crème, pistachio and strawberry panna cotta, raspberry éclairs and more. Enjoy live music with bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosas. Younger guests can experience a child-sized buffet and make Mom a special treat at the gourmet cookie decorating station. The cost is $89 for adults, $30 for children (ages 5-12), and free for children 4 and under.  In addition, they’ll have gifts for mom, live music and crafts activities for children.
