Spring Weekends in St. Louis

Spring has begun, and though the weather is not yet what we hope for the season, that won’t stop St. Louis from kicking off the Spring Festival season. Here’s what’s coming up:

RFT Iron Fork 2013 RFT Iron Fork: A festival to celebrate the restaurants of St. Louis. The event benefits the St. Louis Area Foodbank. With amazing food from over 30 restaurants, live music, a mixologist competition and more, this is one of the best food events of the year.

 

Date: Thursday, March 28th

Time: 6:30-9:30pm

Place: Grand & Regency Ballrooms in dontown’s Union Station Hotel

Purchase Tickets: $35 GA or $75 VIP

mussels and scallops Mussel & Scallops Festival at Broadway Oyster Bar: Featuring over 10 different mussel and scallop specials. Live music by Greg Silsby starting at 5pm and The Main Squeeze at 10pm on Friday. All Roostered Up performs at 2pm on Saturday, followed by Luke Winslow King & The Thin Dimes at 10pm. It’s Spring…time to crawl out of your shell and head over to BOB.

Date: Friday, March 29 & Saturday, March 30

Time: Friday – 6-11pm, Saturday – 1-11pm

Richard Blais Dinner with Richard Blais, Top Chef Season 8 Winner, at The Restaurant in Clayton. Did you know that St. Louis makes up the most viewers of Top Chef than any other city in the country? Cool fact! Join Richard for a night of food and fun in an intimate and exclusive dining event. this event will be followed by a book signing at The Market at The Cheshire on Saturday, which will include a cooking demonstration, tasting and book signing.

Date: Friday, March 29 & Saturday March 30

Time: Dinner at 6:30pm on Friday. Book signing from 10am-12pm on Saturday

Tickets are $35 and include a signed copy of the his book Try This At Home.
