Easter is coming up and while some may be thinking of egg hunting and preparing for family and a big ham dinner, I’m thinking of another part of the pig…

baconfest BaconFest: A free all-day festival featuring the Worlds Largest Hog Log-500 lbs of mouth watering bacon cooked in a custom-built smoker, plus other folks creating bacon-inspired dishes all day. The event will also offer bacon infused drinks, bacon merchandise & art, and live music. It’s a bacon lover’s dream come true!

Date: Saturday, March 23rd
Time: 11am-9pm
Place: Kiener Plaza

Although I know some people who would choose a great cup of coffee over bacon, in which case, there’s a great event planned for you guys as well:

caffeine crawl Caffeine Crawl: A unique crawl experience. No beer, no bar. Just pure caffeine from 11am to 3:30pm. The event includes a program, transportation to the shops, bottled water, free raffle ticket, a goodie bag of St. Louis Crawl souvenirs, and a free sampled beverage or chocolate at each stop. The event begins at Kaldi’s and travels to 5 other coffee locations, plus Kakao chocolate. There will also be a special appearance from Patric Chocolate. If you’re not able to make this crawl, no worries. There’s one lined up for Saturday, April 6th as well through Maplewood. Check here to register.

Date: Saturday, March 23rd
Time: 11am-3:30pm
Purchase tickets: $35

Jessica

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
