It’s the weekend and when you live in a city like St. Louis, the options seem endless. But no worries, we’re here to narrow down your choices…sort of. Here’s a list of some of the great events happening in St. Louis from Thursday, February 21st-Sunday, February 24th. Pick one or two, or if you’re really adventurous, I challenge you to try them all.

Date: Thursday, February 21st

Time: 8pm – 12am

Details: Cocktail attire. 18+. Cash Bar

RAW: Natural born artists, is an independent arts organization made up of creative individuals across the nation whose mission is to provide artists with the resources and exposure to inspire and cultivate creativity. They are hosting Discovery: a kind of one night circus of art featuring local talents in film, fashion, music, visual art, hair & makeup and performance art. There will be so many amazing artists in each category, however, we have to give a shout out to one of our own: Melissa Hall with Northern Lights Jewelry. Check them out.

Sips in the City at Culinaria Wine Bar (downtown-9th and Olive)

Date: Friday, February 22nd

Time: 5-7pm

Details: $5 suggested donation. 21+

Sips in the City, a Happy Hour collaboration between Schnuck’s Culinaria and Alive Magazine, is presented by Stella Artois. It’s a great networking event or just a great way to kick off the weekend with a cheap Happy Hour. A $5 donation is suggested, which this month will benefit St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and in return you receive appetizers and 2 complimentary drinks.

Date: Friday, February 22nd

Time: 8pm-1am

Oscar Sunday is February 23rd and what better way to kick it off than with a glamorous pre-Oscar party. The event includes a live red carpet, fun Oscar themed cocktails, Oscar trivia, contests and more. Get your Old Hollywood Glam in gear and head to Three Sixty for a movie star status celebration.

Working Women's Survival Show 26th Annual St. Louis Working Women’s Survival Show at the St. Charles Convention Center

Date: Friday, February 22nd – Sunday, February 24th

Time: 2/22-11am-8pm, 2/23- 10am-8pm, 2/24- 11am-5pm

“The Ultimate Girl’s Day Out”. Three days of food, fashion, fitness and fun featuring over 370 exhibits with items ranging from 5-Hour Energy to jewelry, cosmetics, chocolate & fudge, books, glitter tattoos, insurance, tupperware, bags & totes, acupuncture, sunglasses, candles and so much more. In addition, there will be a variety of shows such as Wellness Tutorials from Club Firm, Fit & Feminine and Cuisine on the Green’s Pork Be Inspired Ultimate Girls Cookoff. Taste wine samples from The Wine Garden, treat your nails to a nail cocktail plus prizes, coupons and more.

Centennial Beer Festival 5th Annual St. Louis Centennial Beer Festival at Moulin Events (2017 Chouteau)

Date: Saturday, February 23rd

Time: 2-5pm & 6-9pm

Details: Brewmaster Dinner already sold out. Beer tasting tickets are selling out fast.

The Centennial Beer Festival offers beer tastings from 86 breweries with a list of beer that seems to go on for miles. There are 2 tastings to choose from, 2-5 pm or 6-9pm. During these tastings, you will have the opportunity to learn about and sample a ridiculous amount of beer. There will be food available for purchase such as brats, BBQ, etc. and live music. For $15 extra, you can join the VIP scene which includes early check-in and access to rare and limited release beers and a selection of cellared and vintage beers.

Purchase Tickets: Beer Tasting: $26.50 advance or $31.50 at the door. Extra $15 for VIP Tasting.

St. Louis Blues Festival 8th Annual St. Louis Blues Festival at Chafeitz Arena

Date: Saturday, February 23rd

Time: Doors open at 6pm. Show starts at 7pm

The 8th Annual Blues Music Festival at Chafeitz will feature the amazing talents of Soul singers Shirley Brown and Denise LaSalle, Blues Hall of Famer Bobby “Blue” Bland, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bobby Womack, R&B powerhouse Mel Waiters, Soul Blues artist TK Soul and Southern Blues staple Charles Wilson.

Corks for a Cause Corks For A Cause

Date: Sunday, February 24th

Time: 3-6pm

Location: 11 Sherwyn Lane, Creve Coeur

Habitat for Humanity is teaming up with R.E.A. Homes for a night of food, fun and wine. Guests will enjoy complimentary valet, wine tasting, a variety of delicious appetizers and desserts, a raffle and giveaway items. The night includes a Silent Auction to bin on items such as a Blues Jersey signed by the entire team, and service packages from local area businesses. All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity.
