PBR Rodeo in St. Louis The PBR (Professional Bull Riders) tour has begun and is making it’s way to St. Louis this year. The Built Ford Tough Series: Kawasaki Invitational presented by Cooper Tires will be held at Scottrade Center from Friday, February 15th-Sunday, February 17th.

It’s not often that events like this happen in the city, and while a rodeo in the city inside a large stadium isn’t a country girl’s idea of a real rodeo, I can assure you this is the real thing. It doesn’t take place in a small town field with just a  fence between you and a bunch of angry bulls. You don’t get to walk around in the dirt and mud with your brought-from-home cooler of Bud Light while checking out the cute cowboys and tricked out trucks. However, these are the best and baddest bull riders of them all! They’re competing for a chance to win the World Finals and $1 million dollars. And it’s going to be action packed with thrilling rides from the Top 35 riders in the world, monstrous bulls like Bushwacker, a 1500 lb bull with a 100% buck-off rate, pyrotechnics, explosions, rock & roll and more.

Ticket prices range from $20-$100. Bull rides begin at 8pm on Friday & Saturday and 2pm on Sunday.

There will also be an after-party at Maggie O’Brien’s on Market St. downtown on Friday and Saturday night. And if my previous experience with rodeos is still accurate, there will be plenty of cute cowboys in tight jeans there to mingle with.

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
