Schlafly,  much like a lot of my family and friends, is celebrating their 21st birthday way longer than necessary. But hey, when you have great beer and great places for people to hang out, it would be a waste not to, right?

So, beginning Wednesday, December 26th, Schlafly will be hosting it’s first 21st Birthday Party. From 11am to Midnight, you can celebrate 21 years of delicious craft beer with prices from 1991 at Schlafly Tap Room at 2100 Locust St. There will be food, fun and live music all day long.

Then join them at Pi Pizzeria on Delmar on Friday, December 28th for their second 21st Birthday Pi Tap Takeover Party. From 7pm-Midnight, they will be taking over 20 taps and bringing a Cask of TIPA for a total of 21 different Schlafly beers to choose from, plus delicious pizza.

And since that’s apparently not enough celebrating, you can hit the finale Birthday Party at The Pageant on Saturday, January 5th for a free concert featuring Bunnygrunt, Old Lights and The Bottle Rockets. (Must be 21 to attend. Tickets only sold at the Schlafly Tap Room or Bottleworks locations)

*Starting December 26th, they’re running a contest through their Twitter (@schlafly) to give away 5 pairs of VIP tickets and one Grand Prize VIP Package, which consists of 2 VIP tickets  a $75 gift certificate to Pi on Delmar and a 1-night stay at the Moonrise Hotel after the show. The contest runs through 12pm on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013. To enter to win, you must be following @Schlafly, you must be at least 21 years old and you must send a tweet that includes the message “RT to enter to win @Schlafly VIP tix to @ThePageantSTL – #SchlaflyVIP”. They will randomly select winners on January 2nd so keep checking.

Happy 21st Schlafly, now you’re old enough to legally drink your own beer!

Oh, and don’t forget about The Schlafly Bottleworks’ Holiday Fair and Winter Farmers Market taking place Friday, December 22nd from 9am-1pm. Take advantage of their newly covered and heated patio and come check out all the local farm fresh meat and dairy products plus herbs, chocolate and other delicious goods. Gt in some last minute Christmas shopping with gifts from local craft and artisan vendors such as LoopDeeDoo, Newberry Furniture, Sprouted Designs and Little Monster.
