This year has been action packed in St. Louis and around the world. 2012 marked the year for Felix Baumgartner’s supersonic freefall from 128k, the NHL strike, the London Olympics, the Royal baby announcement, the re-election of President Obama, Hurricane Sandy, tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary, and much more. From amazing athletic feats to terrible tragedy, 2012 has seen it all. As we reflect on the year that is nearly past, we look to the future with hope.

Here is the 2012 year in search from Google:

channing-tatum-peoples-sexiest-man-alive-2012 We have had such a fun year writing stories about St. Louis!  Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to share our passion with you.  We look forward to another crazy year. Here are the 5 most popular Real Life STL stories from 2012.  Everything from male strippers to food from a truck. Enjoy – again!

1. Nicki Minaj is coming to St. Louis. St. Louis loves Nicki Minaj.

2. Food Truck Fridays. Food trucks have been all the rage in the last two years in St. Louis. We can’t wait until Spring to see them again in Tower Grove Park!

3, Magic Mike. I am pretty sure every woman on the planet went to see this movie in 2012.

4. Free Giveaways on Election Day. 2012 was an election year with big decisions to be made by voters…who also love free stuff.

5. Helium Shortage May be the End of the Party Balloon. How could we live without the party balloon? More importantly helium.

How will you classify 2012 in the memior of your life?  Whether it made you cry or laugh until your cheeks hurt, it is coming to an end.  It is time for impossible resolutions, Bowl games, and crazy weight-loss comercials on TV for the next month.  What will your resolution for 2013 be?
