It’s The Born This Way Ball and pre-sale tickets are available today starting at 10am! General admission tickets go on sale tomorrow, October 5th at 10am.
The Born This Way Tour began in Asia in August, hits North America in January 2013, and will be in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center on February 2nd, 2013.
Now I’m no Little Monster, but if there is one concert that I know is well worth skipping paying some bills this month to instead buy a ticket for a quality seat at the Scottrade Center, it’s Lady Gaga.
Gaga is not just a singer, not just a performer, she’s an influential woman in our society right now in all aspects. Did you know she is the only artist in this digital era to top the $5 million sales mark with just her first 2 hits? She is huge in social media! In fact, she is #1 on Twitter with 30 million followers. And she has conversations with her followers and responds to them daily! On top of that, she’s an amazingly talented singer, a great dancer, and a performer with elaborate, over-the-top shows that are literally unlike any other.
She’s on fire and if what we’ve seen from her so far, with her Grammy and VMA performances and her off-the-wall outfits like her meat dress and Kermit dress are any inclination to what we’ll see on her tour, then move over Nicki because Gaga is the must-see concert of the year!
If you’ve already seen a live Lady Gaga performance, then you’re already entranced. But if you haven’t…these should give you an idea:
- This video is from an American Idol performance, which we all know requires artists to keep things toned down considerably.
- Here’s a photo of her performing “Born This Way” during her current tour:
- Lastly, some facts about ticket sales from her current tour:
What does all of this mean? It means buy your tickets like now because Lady Gaga tickets sell out faster than you can say Monster. Good luck!
Oh, and just for something to listen to while you’re purchasing your tickets, here’s one of my favorites, “Hair“, from her Born This Way album:
