The Absolute Worst Song Ever! Courtesy Of Teen Mom Farrah Abraham

I didn’t watch 16 and Pregnant and I’ve never seen a single episode of Teen Mom, so I come to this with no character judgements at all about the person singing this song…but it is nothing more than an assault to the ears.  It makes me say things like:

“Wow, Paris Hilton maybe really had something with Stars Are Blind.”

“Whatever happened to K-Fed?”

“Wow, Ke$ha is a lyrical genius” and finally “They really don’t auto tune all that much lately.”

Is it really that bad? Yes, it is.

This is not like Rebecca Black’s “Friday.” This is not a gift from her parents. This is a serious attempt to become a serious singer and ohh so so so much worse than “Friday.”

Farrah Abraham of Teen Mom is working hard to extend her fame beyond the show and has just come out with a new memoir titled “My Teenage Dream Ended” in which she details parts of her life not covered by her years on MTV. A reality star getting more “real” I suppose.

She is releasing a studio album, yep that’s right, this is just a sampling of the joy that is yet to come. Just listen to her first single and you will realize that though I am prone to exaggeration, it really is the worst song ever!  It’s called “Finally Getting Up From Rock Bottom” and it’s sad that she has no one around her to tell her this was a bad idea, that it is not good, and (remember I know nothing about her) that listening to this song, then reading her describing it as a way to dig down deep and find the strength to pull herself out from where she was…well…she looks like fool.

I know I don’t like auto tuning in general, but I wasn’t aware it could really make you sound worse. And if it was actually worse than this prior to auto tuning…well, I just don’t know what to say.

Are we all in agreement here?
