LouFest 2012

I was just talking to a friend recently about the fact that St. Louis doesn’t have any serious music festivals. You know –  the stay all weekend and camp on the concert grounds type of concert, like Country Thunder in Wisconsin or Bonnaroo in Tennessee. It’s something St. Louis is lacking and I have high hopes that LouFest will one day become the St. Louis music festival that people come from hundreds of miles to see, to stay and to camp out.

Until then, Lou Fest is a cool 2-day Indie music festival that takes place in Central Field Forest Park with tons of great bands and other fun events to keep you entertained. This is it’s 3rd year running and it’s picking up steam with more impressive bands, more media and sponsors and I assume…bigger crowds.

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
