It’s that time again…The World Naked Bike Ride will be making it’s way through St. Louis this weekend!

Want to participate?

Meet in the South Grand Parking lot on the corner of Grand and Hartford in South City this Saturday, July 28th at 6pm with your bicycle (or skates, skateboard, or roller blades).

What to wear?

From bare it all to hand-painted body design to underwear to your own unique costume to fully clothed, it’s anything goes!

What to expect?

From 6-8pm, there will be a pre-ride party, with body painting, live music from Slight Return and Leads and an environmental and bicycle expo with local bicycle shops: Big Shark, Randy’s Recycled Cycles, Spoked STL, Cherokee Street Bikes and Mike’s Bikes, along with other bicycle, environmental and body positive organizations such as: Sex Positive STL, Gateway Burners, High Spektical Photography, DIY Photomaton, Cycling Savvy, Commute St. Louis, Fresh Poetry, Ink and St. Louis Gateway Nudists.

At 8pm, the ride begins and runs from South City to Lafayette Square to Downtown and Midtown to The Grove, where the post-party begins!

Post-party begins at 9pm. It’s hosted by HandleBar and Atomic Cowboy and will include wild drink specials and a hot swing quartet known as Tommy & The Fig Leaves.

Why are we doing this?

World Naked Bike Ride is a ride protesting oil dependency, raising awareness of cyclist rights and vulnerability on our roads, and advocating positive body image. You’re doing it to support a worthy cause…and have a little fun!

Don’t want to participate but want to witness the fun?

Check the map to find out where you can to cheer them on as they ride by.

So far the Facebook event page shows 488 attending….will you be #489?

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
