As everyone must know by now, the Fair St. Louis free Summer concert series have begun, and with them come delicious fair foods like funnel cakes, jumbo corn dogs, dippin’ dots and more, plus fun outdoor activities and fireworks!  It’s a beautiful thing. And if you’re a music lover, then you’ll appreciate the 2 great musicians playing this weekend: Third Eye Blind and Dierks Bentley.

Not only can you join the festival under the Arch this weekend, you can also experience the 2nd best annual festival on The Landing: Rockin’ on the Landing. This festival is Friday & Saturday from 1-11pm (also free) and offers performances from local St. Louis artists like Joe Dirt and Earl (among others) as well as food, beverages and fun.

In addition to these amazing free music festivals that St. Louis offers us, we are lucky enough to also have a World Series winning baseball team stomping the competition playing at home this weekend.  Watch them beat the Miami Marlins this Friday at 7:15pm or Saturday at 3:10pm and give a little shout out to the members joining the All Star Game: Freese, Beltran, Furcal, Molina and Lance Lynn.

Then there’s The Muny’s premiere of Disney’s Aladdin which began yesterday and runs all through the weekend, Friday – Sunday at 8:15pm. Ticket prices range from $10 to $70 or you can try your chance at seeing it for free. The Muny offers almost 1500 free seats in the last 9 rows on a first come, first served basis. Doors open at 7pm.

ArtD Tour, presented by Art Dimensions of St. Louis, is something that every St. Louisian must attend. On Friday, July 6th from 5:30-9pm, you have the opportunity to see St. Louis’ best art galleries. Start off with appetizers and drinks at the Sheldon Concert Hall and then be whisked away to enjoy the art at your choice of 3 other art galleries. Then check out the after party from 9pm to 1am at the Cherokee Performing Arts Center. Advance ticket prices are $20 or $30. Day of tickets are $25 or $35.

So what are you doing this weekend St. Louis?

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
