If you’ve been avoiding the hot St. Louis weather or the large St. Louis crowds, this is the weekend to Get Over It!

It’s the last weekend for Celebrate St. Louis and there’s no better way to go out than to watch a couple of Pretty Fly White Guys rockin out. You know what I’m talking about…

That’s right, The Offspring will be performing old school faves like Spare Me The Details, Why Don’t You Get A Job and the infamous Pretty Fly For A White Guy along with new songs like Days Go By this Friday at 9pm. Check out their openers: Fivefold at 6 p.m. and Building Rome at 7:30 p.m.

As if that’s not enough, we get to spend the final night of a fantastic month of free concerts and fireworks partying with St. Louis’ own Grammy Award winning, gold and platinum record holding, St. Lunatic hip hop artist: Cornell Iral Haynes, aka  NELLY!

Ok, I get that some St. Louisans are too young to know who Heart is or too close-minded to understand the brilliance of country music star Dierks Bentley, but this weekend you have no excuse (unless you’re out of town)…this is Nelly we’re talking about people!

He’s performing this Saturday (mark it on your calendar now) at 8pm after openers Brown Bottle Fever at 6 p.m. and Matt Hill and the Deep Fryed Two at 6:45 p.m. The after-party is at the The Coliseum in Midtown starting at 10pm hosted by Z107.7. You can win passes through 107.7, call to try to make reservations or show up and hope to get in. The Coliseum – 2619 Washington Ave

This is the weekend to get out of your house, grab your sunscreen and your dancing shoes and come rock out, and enjoy a St. Louis loving, violence free, last  Celebrate St. Louis concert of 2012 weekend….Nelly style!

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
