Pride weekend starts tomorrow, June 23rd in St. Louis!  First, the 33rd annual Pridefest in Tower Grove Park has planned 2 days full of fun, food, and entertainment – and the 2nd largest parade in St. Louis.  Here are the details:

Commitment Ceremony at 3:00pm on Saturday

Pride St. Louis/St. Louis Frontrunners “Pride 5K” – 6:30 am-7:30 am registration, 8 am Run/Walk

Official Pride Parade at 12:00pm on Sunday – The parade begins on the corner of Grand Avenue and Utah heads north past Arsenal to the entrance of Tower Grove Park.

Now for the entertainment!  Some of the headliners include singer/songwriter Shelby Lynne, RuPaul’s Drag Race finalist Pandora Boxx, and past American Idol contestant Frenchie Davis!  Click here to purchase VIP tickets for Sunday for $100.

The Grove

If you are not much of a festival type person but still want to celebrate Pride Weekend or just want to get started early, The Grove has a ton of great things going on starting tonight!

Attitudes (4100 Manchester) has been serving the GLBT community for 24 years! Glitter Bomb Productions presents Aphrodite’s Love Festival takes place on Friday, June 22, and Saturday is Attitude’s 24th Annual Pride Party! First 100 people get an Attitudes Pride t-shirt and doors open at 9:30.

Bad Dog Bar & Grill will be hosting an exhibit opening featuring Artifacts of Gay St. Louis on Friday, June 22, and a Studio 54 Party on Saturday July 23 at 9 p.m. Disco dance party, shirtless bartenders, hors d’ouevres. Limited tickets available, $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

At Club Big Moe’s (1072 Tower Grove Ave.), check out its Pride Drag Show on Saturday July 23 at 10:00 p.m.

Erney’s 32 Degrees
will be hosting its Pride 2012 Toga Party on Friday June 22 with $5 Pride Punch and 2 for 1 drinks when wearing at toga. On Saturday, Alive Magazine and Bud Light will be hosting the Ultra White Party with Burlesque favorite Lola Van Ella.

At Just John Nightclub, Friday is its Black Out Party with DJ Ruben_B and Saturday is the Just John Car Wash with DJ Josh Waters followed by DJ Jimmy No Show. A shuttle will be provided between Pride Fest and Just John on Sunday, June 24 between 10 and 8. There will be a Patio Blow Out with DJ Chrispy, DJ DigiStar and DJ Ruben_B.

At Meyer’s Grove, check out Friday and Saturday The Painted Ladies with Michelle McCausland & Tumara Mahorning. Show begins at 10 PM (no cover) and $15 Carafe Specials.

At Novak’s, each day of the week is a dress up party with a different color of the rainbow, ending with Purple on Saturday. $10 all you can drink.

At Rehab, the weekend starts off on Friday with Pixie and Trixie Show at 10 p.m., Saturday’s Foam Party at 10 p.m., and live band Plastic on Sunday from 7 p.m. to close. No cover charge all weekend.

Whew, so much to do and so little time.  Make sure to plan your weekend wisely and don’t miss the parade on Sunday!
