Consignment At It's Best

I love buying used and re-selling things I do not use anymore. It is something my mom and I have done for years, partially because I am on a budget, and also because I love finding a good deal. In 2010 I had a baby which put me on an even tighter budget, so I set out to find a way to buy and sell clothes for my daughter. That is when I heard about The Stork Lady. I was so excited when I heard about this consignment sale event that I rushed to be there right when it opened, ready to get a deal.

I could not believe how many items were in the sale. It was so organized and easy to shop. It’s almost like a department store, but much cheaper. Before I knew it I had gathered more items than I could carry: dresses, shoes, complete outfits and outside toys. As I got to the check out, I began to panic thinking I wouldn’t have enough money for it all. In the end I had plenty of money due to the amazing prices, but while I was checking out I asked the lady about how to become a consignor. She told me it was so easy and to go to the website to find out all the details…and I did.

Now I am a full on volunteer, seller and buyer at all The Stork Lady sales. This sale has over 60,000 items ranging from clothes size newborn to 16, books, toys, decorations, games, strollers, and any kid or baby item you can think of. This will be the 12th summer sale for The Stork Lady. There are two to three sales per year and this year they have added an adult sale.

It is hard to believe The Stork Lady started this all out of her garage and it just keeps growing. Now the sale is held at 125 Kenrick Plaza, Shrewsberry, MO 63119. There are several days and times to shop the sale. There is even a first time parents pre-sale.

The kids sale is July 12-14 and for the first time the grown-ups get their own sale on July 21-22. If you would like to be a seller, time is running out to sign up.

Go to www.storkladysale.com for all the details. You will not be disappointed with this sale.
