Need something fun (& educational too) to do with the whole family this Memorial Day weekend?

The Missouri Botanical Garden is at it again with another amazing demonstration of art, skill, beauty, and culture. This weekend, beginning Saturday, May 26th at 9:00, marks the opening of a brand new exhibit – The Chinese Lantern Festival. They are calling the event Art by Day, Magic by Night. The grand opening weekend has an amazing line-up of events for all ages including dance teams and acrobats, a fashion show, culinary arts, and much more!  Check out the full schedule of events this weekend here.  The festivities officially kick off on Saturday with a parade on the grounds at 10:45 and the gardens will remain open until 10pm.

Lantern Festival Grand Opening Weekend admission:

$10 children (ages 3—12)
$15 Garden members
$5 Garden members’ children (ages 3—12)

Don’t have time this weekend? The lanterns will be on display until August 19th. Until then, see how the amazing lanterns shaped up in St. Louis in the video below.
