Bike to My Lou is a bike ride and festival going on this Saturday in downtown St. Louis.

Date: March 31, 2012

Time: 10am – 2pm

Where: Starts at the Old Post Office Plaza in downtown St. Louis (815 Locust)

Charge: FREE! (although they would like a head count prior to so if you can, pre-register on their Facebook page).

What you need to bring: Helmet (required), Bike Lock, Water Bottle, Bike Decorations (not required but you should because they’re fun)

The event includes 2 routes:

  • 5 mile ramble (casual, family friendly ride leaves at 11:15am)

  • 16 mile romp (longer route, more sight seeing, leaves at 11am)

This isn’t JUST a bike ride. It’s a community gathering which will include pre and post-ride festivities such as: live music by Celia and FireDog, a bike rodeo, games, Free Bike Safety Inspections courtesy of Urban Shark, face painting and bike decorations, and food from Bailey’s Range, Rooster, and Bridge.

Come out and help showcase why St. Louis is a great place to live!
