Ok Trekkies, it is time to teleport to the St. Louis Science Center tonight for Star Trek Trivia – Spock ears not required but encouraged (by me)!  In addition to a trivia contest, you can check out the whole exhibition which includes a public telescope viewing outside the Planetarium, go on a Star Trek scavenger hunt, see small and large models of the ships, walk through a full-scale replica of the bridge of the Enterprise-D, and see all the props and costumes from the show!  The exhibition runs through May 28th, so if you can’t go tonight you still have plenty of time.  Just a special tidbit for big fans, Star Trek: Voyager actor, Robert Picardo (Doctor) will be at the exhibition on February 3rd and there are even lectures on select Thursday nights.  All the information for tonight is below!

Date: January 6, 2012

Time: 8:00pm

Place: St. Louis Science Center

*This trivia event is for individuals, not teams.  Check out the official website for more information or to order your tickets.

Here are some trivia questions to get you started…how well do you know Star Trek?  Don’t cheat!

1. The Starfleet Academy’s moto is “Ex Astris, Scientia” – what does that mean?

2. What was the name of the shuttlecraft aboard the original Enterprise?

“Beam me up, Scotty!”
