Free Winter Carnival in Soulard Market

This Saturday marks the next event on the St. Louis Mardi Gras calendar.  This free, family friendly carnival is perfect for crafting, food, and entertainment!  And good news, the weather won’t be a problem – the big tent is heated!

From the Mardi Gras website:

Fifth Third Bank presents: SSM Cardinal Glennon Family Winter Carnival in Soulard Market Park at 8th and Lafayette beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Lots of Activities under the Fifth Third Bank Big Tent:

  • Decorate Your-Own Masks
  • Decorate Your own Crowns
  • Make Your Own Beads
  • Decorate Your Own King’s and Queens Capes
  • Face painting
  • Art wall on which children can freely paint and create their own piece of art
  • SSM Cardinal Glennon Safety Corner offering safety tips for children and parents
  • Interactive games

Special Guests: Rally Squirrel and Fred Bird!

On Stage: Family friendly performances on stage by the Muny Kids, Bobaloo, and more.

The Childrens Parade: 

Starting at 4pm
The children will follow the Fifth Third Bank children’s parade route led by SSM Cardinal Glennon Grand Marshall Keith through the streets of Soulard showing off their new costumes.
