Top 5 Fall TV Shows

While I don’t have a lot of free time, and I try not to waste it watching tv every night, I will say I am more excited about tv this Fall than I can remember being. I’ve seen commercials for all these new shows over the past month or 2 and the following 5 caught my attention. I’ve seen 1 or 2 episodes of each so far and I’m happy to say they have not disappointed me…yet.

Hart of Dixie
Hart of Dixie: Hello! Rachel Bilson and country music together in one show…what could be better? It’s like a romantic comedy movie, only it lasts for an entire season instead of only 2 hours. It’s on the CW Mondays at 9pm.

2 Broke Girls: Didn’t get to this one until last night via Hulu (it’s like my TiVo only it’s free!),  but I love it already! Super witty and I was still intrigued after the 2nd episode so I will be continuing to watch it. It’s on CBS Mondays at 7:30pm.

The X Factor: Don’t mistake this for American Idol. It’s clearly a whole new show…haha! No, it’s American Idol but how awesome is it that we now get to have American Idol all year long! I like that they have groups and older people as well…not that I think one of them will actually win, but at least they’re feigning giving them a shot.

New Girl: Oh my gosh! This show is hilarious! Not the sarcastic type of funny like Parks and Rec or Always Sunny, but funny like Friends. Zooey Deschanel plays this hilariously goofy girl, similar to Ross or Phoebe and her roommates are these quirky guys, each funny in his own way. It’s on FOX on Tuesdays at 8pm.

whitney Whitney: I love Whitney Cummings! From comedian on Chelsea Lately’s round table to her own comedy show. She’s my kind of funny: super witty and totally sarcastic, and she has phenomenal facial expressions that I wish were mine. Alas, I am not a comedian, so instead I will live vicariously through Whitney. It’s on NBC Thursdays at 8:30pm.

Anybody else have any favorite new Fall shows? I may have time to fit in one more…but it better be good!

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
