Midtown Alley Street Fest
Midtown is where you say? The historic Midtown Alley neighborhood encompasses a nearly one-mile section of Locust and Olive streets between Theresa Avenue to the west and Leffingwell to the east near St. Louis University. And this Saturday, it is the location of the hottest street fest in town! I love microbrews and they will have a garden full of them with perfect weather for day drinking outside!
Cost: FREE!!
When: Saturday, October 1, 2011, 10am – 11pm
Where: Midtown Alley on Locust Street from Garrison to Hotel Ignacio.
Live Music On Two Stages: Live Music includes: Kim Massie, Murder City Players, David Beeman (of Old Lights), Derrick Streibig (of We Are Warm), Stickley & Canan, Animal Empty, Née, Union Tree Review, Pretty Little Empire, and The Blind Eyes.
Microbrew Beer Garden (8 local micorbreweries!): 10am – 11pm
Food from Area Restaurants: 10am – 11pm
Saint Louis University’s Open Air Market (featuring local artists): 10am – 5pm
Antique Car Show: 10am – 5pm
Kid Zone (including kid-friendly food!): 10am – 5pm
Parking: SLU parking garage (among others)
