Do you have a credit card?

Do you have a mortgage?

Do you have a car payment?

Do you have student loans that you are paying back?

Is your eye twitching thinking about it all? Debt might not always be a bad thing, if it is temporary. When it goes beyond temporary and into a lifestyle of piling on the monthly payments, I think it becomes unhealthy financially.

I am very young to be talking about debt and my opinons on the subject. I have no husband or children, but I also have lived a little bit to know that I hate the idea of debt. I don’t like the feeling that I owe some one something.

I am on a mission in life to not be in debt. I am not sure how that is going to happen, but I guess we shall see.

Thoughts? Is debt just how Americans live life?
