Yay! The weather is finally gorgeous, and with that come hundreds of things to do outside this weekend.
As I am a huge pet lover, and promoter of getting your pets from humane societies as opposed to breeders and puppy mills, this weekend I am promoting the Humane Society of Missouri’s and Purina One’s annual Bark in the Park.
It’s this Saturday, May 21st from 10am-3pm at Cricket Field in Forest Park.
This huge fundraising event benefits abused and neglected animals, and helps to gain support for better care for animals in shelters and puppy mills.
It’s going to be a beautiful day. Take your pet out for a nice walk. The Walk for Animals starts at 11:00am. Or if you don’t have a pet to walk, come out and watch the Dog Team Performances and pet contests. Bring the kids out to play on the bounce house and get their faces painted. There’s something for everyone!

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
