Draw A Bird Today

Friday, April 8th…My birthday! The year is irrelevant… ūüėČ

My line-up starts today: Thursday, April 7th at the Boathouse in Forest Park for the Shrimp Boil. It’s from 5pm to 9pm. A 3- course meal including jumbo shrimp, cheap drinks, and live entertainment, the perfect way to kick off my birthday weekend celebration!

Friday, April 8th: My Birthday! Working…bummer…but then dinner and Late Nights with Flashlights at the City Museum. Ok, I know I said that was on last weekend’s to-do list, but it turns out I had a lot of other to-dos last weekend. Not sure on where to go for dinner yet, so I am open to suggestions (around the downtown/South City area preferably).

Saturday, April 9th: My good friend was one day away from having her little girl on the best day of the year…aka my birthday…but sadly she missed it, so I will be attending one fun-filled 2 year old’s¬†birthday party, and then hitting up Washington Avenue in downtown St. Louis, maybe a little Flamingo Bowl, The Pour¬†House, who¬†knows where¬†the night will lead…

park Sunday, April 10: The perfect ending to an amazing birthday weekend. I will first enjoy an always¬†heavenly¬†breakfast at the City Diner. Then, my hope (weather pending) is¬†to spend the rest of the afternoon lying¬†in the grass in Forest Park,¬†preferably on the big hill across from the Boathouse, where I can watch the kites flying in the air and the paddlers out on the pond, and¬†hopefully, listen to¬†live music playing in the pavilion at the top of the hill. I’m picturing it now and I already feel relaxed..and slightly tan.

Jessica

Doesn’t know how to cook and survives pretty much on macaroni and cheese and pizza, so naturally, loves to eat out at restaurants. However, one day when she is married and has a family to cook for, she would love to take cooking classes and learn awesome skills like the chefs on Iron Chef America...as long as she doesn't have to clean the dishes afterwards.
