Only about 20 minutes away from Carbondale is an adorable place called Cobden.

There is a local owned resteraunt there named Yellow Moon Cafe. They have great selection of food and they have music events often.

Also located in the town is a bed and breakfast called Bruce Goff Castle Bed and Breakfast. They have really awesome rates for such a beautiful place.

So..drive a little bit to Cobden. Fill your belly and then enjoy a peaceful sleep at a Castle.
