I’ve been feeling very stressed out lately. I wish I knew why, but since I don’t, I can’t really figure out how to cure myself. I received a gift certificate for a free massage for Christmas that I haven’t yet used, so I increased it to a hot stone massage, shout out to Pur Nature Aveda Salon in Fairview Heights, and am getting it tonight. I have never had a massage before and always wondered how I would feel about a stranger having his/her hands all over me, but at this point I’m up for anything. However, being that I can’t afford a $50-$100 massage every time I feel stressed out, I need some advice on less expensive de-stress methods, so my question is:
How do you relieve stress on a regular basis? Is there some sort of in-home method such as a weekly hot bubble bath or meditation video that you have found soothes you that you think I should try?
