Resident Events = Free Giveaways

Happy Valentine’s Day to all! And to all, a good resident event.
I’m not sure what type of Valentine’s events your apartment community may be having, if any. BUT – You’ve got St. Patrick’s Day and Mardi Gras coming soon.
This being noted, I’d like to make a suggestion to you. This may sound dorky or not fun at all, but hear me out. If your apartment community is big enough to have events, you need to go.
Most apartment communities large enough to hold these events have free giveaways like money off your rent, accent walls, electronics, etc. Considering the fact that most of the other residents won’t be there, you’re chances at winning something just skyrocketed.
I don’t know about you, but I’m all about free. I heard about a woman who went to a Christmas party at her community and won $100 off her rent just for following simple instructions on the event flyer that nobody else did. Five minutes of her time got her $100. I don’t know any jobs that pay that.
As these holidays come and go, I hope to hear from stories from you all about things you won or good times you had. (I actually think they are kind of fun.)
