Been to the History Museum lately? They have some pretty cool exhibits all for $12 or less–you could make an all day event out of it.

american with disabilities act2 The Americans with Disabilities Act: Twenty Years Later
Ends June 6th
Free Admission

I actually walked through this exhibit last year and really enjoyed it. It’s really amazing to see how far we’ve come over the years.

There were some pretty intersting things in the exhibit from the old days like when people with disabilities would hide their devices in necklaces or other common items.

napoleon1

Treasures of Napoleon
Ends April 3rd
$6-$12 Admission

Who hasn’t heard of Napoleon? I don’t know a lot of history, but I remember hearing about this guy in class. Whatever your thoughts on him, he will always be in the history books–no doubt.

Splendid Heritage: Perspectives on American Indian Art
Ends April 24th
$5-$8 Admission

I have seen some American Indian art and let me tell you, it’s beautiful. I love the bead work and beautiful clothing. You see this in books but have you seen it in person?

Have you been to any of these exhibits yet? Let me know your thoughts.
