BHM 2011 Logo SIUE is celebrating Black History Month with several great events open to the public.  Here are the events for this weekend!

Thursday, February 17

 Black Heritage Month Student Talent Show – 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Meridian Ballroom, Morris University Center

Come watch SIUE students as they take their turn on stage showcasing their singing, dancing, poetic, and musical talents.

Friday, February 18

Friday Free Flick – For Colored Girls – 6:00 PM

 Lovejoy Library Abbott Auditorium

Join Campus Activities Board for this blockbuster film directed by Tyler Perry.  The all-star cast provides a thought-provoking commentary on what it means to be a female of color in the world.  Free popcorn and soda will be provided.
