How to: look beyond yourself

Everyone goes through things in life, some of which are incredibly difficult, and I don’t want to take away from the personal pain you may have felt in life.

However, sometimes hearing about what other people go through put our current struggles into the right perspective:

 People are being sold into sex slavery

 27 million people are enslaved

2 children are sold every minute

Over 1.2 million children are trafficked annually

Over 100,000 US children are forcefully engaged in prostitution or pornography each year
