How exciting is this football fans!  The Tigers are headed to the Insight Bowl in Tempe, Arizona to battle the Iowa Hawkeyes on December 28th at Sun Devil Stadium.  This will be their 6th straight bowl game. 

What about those Tigers!!  Mizzou is the ninth-winningest program in the NCAA, finished the season at 10- 2, ranked 12th in the BCS standings and ranks sixth nationally in scoring defense.  In my opinion, the Hawkeyes don’t have a chance against one of the best defensive college teams in the Big 12.    It would’ve been nice to see Missouri get one of the bigger bowl games. After all, they deserve it after playing the seventh-toughest schedule in the nation and let’s not forget the Oklahoma game. OMG!  But hey–it’s the Insight Bowl and I’m sure the fans and I are going to enjoy watching our Tigers whoop some Hawkeye butt!!  As of today they’ve sold 7,200 of the 11,000 tickets available.  Coach Pinkel is asking the ZOU fans to show their support and purchase tickets.  Need a last minute Christmas present idea??  There you go!!
