Songs I Can’t Get Out Of My Head.

Every now and then a tune will get jammed into my skull whether I like the song or not.  It will gnaw at my brain until I start humming it.  The humming will then turn into song vomit. (This is when you don’t quite know the lyrics, so you end up meshing melodies and vowels together.)  The end result will be you going on YouTube and eventually watching the music video.  It’s like exorcizing a musical demon.

I bet that you have had at least two of these songs on repeat inside your cranium:

RIHANNA – ONLY GIRL (IN THE WORLD)

Memorable lyric: Want you to make me feel like I’m the only girl in the worrrrrrld.

SIR MIX-A-LOT – BABY GOT BACK

Memorable lyric: I like big butts and I cannot lie.

LADY GAGA – ALEJANDRO

Memorable lyric: Don’t call my name, don’t call my name Alejandro.  I’m not your babe; I’m not your babe…Fernando.

SUZANNE VEGA – TOMS DINER

Memorable lyric: Dut dut duh DUT dut duh duh DUT, Dut dut duh DUT dut duh duh DUT.

EDIE BRICKELL & THE NEW BOHEMIANS – WHAT I AM

RIHANNA FT/ DRAKE – WHATS MY NAME

Memorable lyric: Oh nah nah…whats my name?  Oh nah nah…whats my name?

JOURNEY – DONT STOP BELIEVING

BOY GEORGE & CULTURE CLUB – KARMA CHAMELEON

Memorable lyric: Karma karma karma karma, Karma Chameleon.  You come and go.  You come and go.
